Vermont’s Dual Enrollment program offers Vermont senior high school juniors and seniors the chance to earn as much as six college credits at CCV. Which means your credits assist you to finish senior high school and start college, all in the same time!

Talk with your twelfth grade guidance counselor about applying your college credits toward your school credit that is high requirement. Students underneath the chronilogical age of 16 need special permission to enroll at CCV. speak to your local CCV academic center for information.

• Browse our course schedule for classes you are looking at taking. You should discuss your possible choices together with your senior high school guidance counselor to see whenever you can earn senior high school credits for the college class.

Introduction to College & Careers

CCV offers a free, non-credit Introduction to College & Careers (ICC) course for twelfth grade students each semester. ICC prepares you for college by assisting you set goals, problem-solve, manage time and stress, improve communication skills, take better notes, reduce test anxiety, and plan financially. To sign up in this class as an innovative new CCV student, apply online and select a specific course section that is ICC. The abilities assessment is not required, as it will be completed through the class.

Fast Forward Program for Technical Center Students

The Fast Forward program helps students in technical center programs earn college credit as they continue to be in high school and prepares them to enroll in college education programs. Students earn credit toward their technical center program and college credit at the same time. The courses are taught in the tech center, and students must meet enrollment requirements for specific courses.

The credits earned during these courses are accepted by CCV toward degree requirements in program areas like Allied Health, Business, Early Childhood Education, Graphic Design, and Information Technology.

To be a Fast Forward Student:

• Apply for admission.
• It as soon as possible if you have not already completed the skills assessment, contact your tech center counselor to take.
• Contact your tech center counselor to join up for a quick Forward course.
